Ensured Delivery
Removing the human touch from the delivery of business documents dramatically increases efficiency, it is only half of the equation of ensuring document delivery. The other half is Ensured Delivery®, an optional WebDelivery service. Ensured Delivery prompts recipients for specific document confirmation information and provides rule-based, multi-channel attempts to deliver a document.
Ensured Delivery Allows You to:
virtually eliminate business process delays due to undelivered documents
reduce transaction related calls from suppliers and customers
automatically resend failed documents by alternative means until confirmation of receipt is achieved
receive confirmation of receipt by the person for whom the document was intended
receive additional information about the delivered document during the confirmation process (order acknowledgment, advanced ship notice, invoice #, estimated payment date, etc.)
easily configure and manage delivery and confirmation rules
save money and streamline business processes by automating document delivery and follow-up
Closing the Document Delivery Loop
WebDelivery's Ensured Delivery option can prompt a document recipient for detailed confirmation information. For example, when a PO is received, the recipient can be prompted to complete an order acknowledgment, advance ship notice, or invoice form. The information is logged and becomes a part of the document record in WebDelivery for viewing and updating. Confirmations can also be delivered to applications such as ERP systems for automated status updating.
Making Sure Your Document Gets There
Ensured Delivery also works with WebDelivery to ensure a document gets to its intended recipient. WebDelivery monitors whether or not documents have been viewed by recipients. When a document is not viewed within a specified period of time, Ensured Delivery, based upon user-defined rules, can automatically fax or email the document, or email a second notice that the document is available to them. Ensured Delivery can continue resending the failed documents until a confirmation of receipt is achieved.
Ensuring Receipt of Any Delivery
WebDelivery can also present and manage receipt confirmation requests for any type of delivery including fax, email, postal mail, print, parcel, etc. Any system can submit confirmation requests to WebDelivery with details about the delivered item, mandatory confirmation fields, recipient feedback requests, or simply confirm receipt with a single click.
Managed Document Delivery Services
WebDelivery provides flexible alert capabilities and reports so that document senders and recipients have complete permission-based document activity visibility. As an additional service, Merkur Group can also provide document activity monitoring and recipient account maintenance and support (they call us not you) in the event there are any problems or questions. This provides the complete outsourcing of document delivery allowing your employees to perform higher-value functions instead of delivering and managing documents. |
